By accessing and using Complete Debate ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. All new accounts require admin approval before gaining full access. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree NOT to:

• Use the Service during active debate competition rounds
• Use AI-generated content in violation of debate competition rules
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or restrictions
• Use the Service to generate harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users of the Service

We offer Free, Pro, and Premium subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions:

• Are billed monthly through Stripe payment processing
• Automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Are non-refundable except as required by law
• May be cancelled at any time from your account settings
• Include usage limits (token caps) that reset monthly

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tyler Gordon Dev LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you generate using the Service belongs to you, but you grant us a license to process, store, and display it as necessary to provide the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses OpenAI's GPT models to generate content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content
• You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions
• Generated content should be properly cited if used in academic work
• You are responsible for ensuring generated content complies with all applicable rules

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Tyler Gordon Dev LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in content or for any loss or damage incurred from use of content
• Disqualification or penalties from debate competitions due to misuse of the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
